Continuing on into my week, I had an opportunity to assist with the supremely talented Deanna Ronson of Deanna Ronson Style & Image Consulting for a 4 part series called “Wealthy Women Leaders” with Pat Mussieux for Rogers TV.
Well first off I was so excited to work with Deanna, whom I’d only chatted to a couple times at our area networking group. She trusted my work ethic and skill set, and because of that so did her clients. My job was to basically make sure she was able to perform makeup duties timely and efficiently prior to taping.
It was inspiring to meet these women who are just full of love for life and entrepreneurial spirit. photo source: Pat Mussieux
This was my first time on a film/TV set. My prior experience has been on photoshoots and back stage work. It was so fun!

Building working relationships and friendships is important to me. I believe that while we are in a competitive field. There is always enough work for all of us. The only way you lose is when you chose to stop learning and helping others 🙂

This past week I was lucky enough to be asked by not one, but TWO industry professionals whom I admire to assist or provide hair and makeup services for their daytime tv debuts on Rogers TV (London, Ontario).
On Wednesday morning, I got to glamify my amazing friend Stacey of Stacey Hanlon Photography
Stacey is a photographer from the Ingersoll area who specializes in glamour and boudoir portraiture. I came to know Stacey in June 2013 through a woman’s business network that we both belong to, and I took the chance and reached out to offer my services to her and her clients. BEST decision ever.
After meeting her and seeing how she interacted with her clients – I was awestruck. Never before had I seen anyone with the ability to connect and disarm the guards of a woman who is about to have photos taken of her in her delicates. It’s was all natural and genuine. The environment is a safe and secure one. Since then I have become somewhat of an assistant to Stacey on set. The comfort level she creates for the client produces mind blowing images that usually has the client in disbelief that they could “actually look like that”.
So it’s only natural that Stacey has words of wisdom when it comes to tapping into the world of self esteem and confidence. This is what her Rogers TV interview will focus on.
